Superman
Superman's real name is Kal-El. He came from the planet Krypton. He was sent to Earth in a rocket by his father in an effort to save him seconds before Krypton was destroyed. The rocket landed in the town of Smallville. He was eventually discovered and then adopted by Jonathan and Martha Kent.
As he grew, he discovered that he possessed superhuman powers. He had the ability to breathe hurricane force air, has xray vision, and also has the ability to "magnetise" his vision. He can fly faster than a speeding bullet. He has the power to hypnotise others. He became the "Man of Steel"
By day he lives as Clark Kent, a reporter for the Daily Planet. But secretly he fights the forces of evil as Superman. Clark works alongside reporter Lois Lane, the love interest for Superman.
